With Wings as Eagles

This was meant to be one of Arnold's next films, a paramount production set in Europe where he plays a German officer set in
World War II working at the talag Luft III under the name Ostermann.
Ostermann who is a German Gerneral at the time is given orders to carry out an execution of American POW soldiers.
Instead he sets them free and guides them back to safe ground. Unfortunately it seems to be delayed due to problems securing a director.
This is also a sensative role for Arnold, as rumours will arise and trouble him (or will Arnold trouble them back?). I think Arnold should not be bothered by these
and only crush them like he has with other false writings, tabloids rumours "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and here the lamentation of the women."
By now they should realise that Arnold doesn't take crap, and they will only have to confront his lawyers in the end and ultimately himself.
He has already taken action against one article which depicted him wearing a WW II German uniform giving a seig heil.
It is also important to recognise that crimes against humanity should not label the entire German Army or whoever wears the uniform as an organization of hate.
The vast majority of soldiers were combatants, not criminals. Besides Arnold plays a role of saving a group of men instead of carrying out a task which
would be seen as wrong.
I would definately like to see Arnold back into a war flick, especially if he is going to play the role of German soldier
back in WW2. Arnold should star in this movie, this is a great role! and he would suit it just like he suited a Russian police officer in the movie Red Heat if not better.
He would also make an excellent soldier look at Predator, Commando and solo performances where he takes out skilled attackers (eg. Eraser)

News has it that Paul Verhoeven will direct this movie! not only is this great news but it's about time. This movie has the potential to be
one of Arnold's best action movies yet with Paul Verhoeven directing this Arnie flick since Total Recall back in 1990.
- A great proposal for the role of an American soldier would be for Sylvester Stalone to play. In which Stalone has already played a movie set in World War 2
(1981, Victory), where he is to play a soccer game along with some of the best soccer players in the world like 'Pele' against a German soccer team set up by Nazis for a propaganda campaign. At the
same time Stallone and the other try to think up a way of escaping from the prison they are held. This could finally be a movie where they both star in.
