Based on the novel by Charles Gaines this film is about a wealthy young drifter Craig Blake
who is told to buy out the gymnasium by low life real-estate developers he is working for.
When arriving there he becomes interested by the characters at the olympic spa. There he meets Joe Santo (Arnold Schwarzenegger real-life former Mr. Universe) where he is lifting weights wearing a batman costume who
is a contestant for the Mr. Universe.
Arnold Won a Golden Globe for best newcomer for his role in Stay Hungry.
