Originally based on the novel 'I Am Legend' by Richard Matheson and the 1971 movie 'The Omega Man'. This movie is about a terrible plague which grasps the world
and the only man left is Robert Neville (Arnold Schwarzenengger) with no doubt!
Once the sun goes down and the darkness takes over, hoardes of Vampire like zombies arise from their
deceast states and rampage throught the city of Los Angeles with their Thirst for blood. Robert Neville is lonely and in great danger, this story concentrates
on his struggles and survival.

- We all thought that this project was no longer going to exist, and I was quite unhappy about it. Although news has it that the film may yet still be
produced! There was an interview with X-Files movie director Rob Bowman who was attatched to the movie last summer. He has signed up with Warner bros. that
he'll do it and all we have to do now is wait for Warner bros. to give him the green light for go.

"There were several movies at Warners that were overbudget, and this was one of them,"
confirming that the original Mark Protosevich script recieved a re-write which would be a cheaper alternative. "But I had a take on the idea that just wasn’t as expensive as the other one. A different way to tell the story that didn’t happen to be as expensive."
It's also believed that Schwarzenegger is wanting to do the film too, although there are rumours that Nicolas Cage may be used for Neville's part
if the movie goes ahead. Something i'd not want to see happening. Schwarzenegger and only Schwarzenegger! Besides who else would be able to survive? Question answered
